JOSEP PEDRO
The following map has been elaborated in the course of my research about the blues scene in Austin Texas. The shapes and colors of the signs that represent the live music venues, as well as related businesses and institutions, indicate the nature of the places selected and its degree of importance and relationship regarding the Austin Blues Scene.
Color:
- Green signs: Active Live Music Venues
- Orange: University of Texas
- Blue: Relevant places related to the music scene (churches, museums, bars, etc.)
- Yellow: Music Festival Celebration
Shape:
- Star: highest degree of importance and relationship with the blues scene
- Rhombus: intermediate-high degree of importance and relationship with the blues scene
- Square: intermediate-low degree of importance and relationship with the blues scene
- Circle: lowest degree of importance and relationship with the blues scene
